Match the presentation to the household item
- Soft goods
- Provide the folded dimensions and packing method for silk products or accessories. Decide how the contents should look when the recipient opens the pack.
- Rigid or fragile items
- Share the shape, weight and contact points for glassware, cutlery or other rigid contents. Identify separation and handling requirements for the packaging proposal.
- Access and arrangement
- Choose the orientation of each item and explain how it is placed in and removed from the pack. Confirm the arrangement with the actual contents during sampling.
Develop the interior for the item, not just the outer size
Discuss a paper or board presentation and any interior positioning needed by the contents. Surface-contact requirements, closures and handling tests are agreed for the chosen item. No protection level or transport-test result is implied by a gift-pack example.
