Food Packaging Requirements: Identify Contact, Materials and Documentation
A food packaging requirement brief starts by identifying which components contact the food and the intended market. Define the actual materials and request the relevant documentation before treating the complete package as suitable for the application.

Identify contact and the food application
Describe the food, its primary container or wrapping and how the packaging will be used. Identify direct-contact components separately from outer presentation parts. Include any temperature, storage or handling requirements relevant to the project brief.
Request documentation for the proposed scope
Confirm the material and process information relevant to the actual components and intended destination. HC Packaging Vietnam Company Limited’s HACCP scope covers specified conversion processes for paper trays and boxes used as direct and indirect food-industry packaging. Order requirements must still be checked for the proposed application.
Approve requirements alongside the sample
Review the fitted sample with the agreed contents and packing method. Keep the material references and applicable documentation aligned with the accepted specification. Confirm market-specific requirements with the responsible food business and its qualified reviewers; a decorative photograph alone cannot establish compliance.
