Hot-Stamping Quality Review: Compare the Finished Detail with the Approved Sample

Review hot-stamping quality by comparing the finished decoration with the artwork and agreed sample. Check the intended details, edges and position on the actual surface, and document any discrepancy for technical review.

Keep the finish reference available

Use the approved artwork, material and decoration reference during review. Confirm which areas should be decorated and which should remain clear. The gold-colored presentation example illustrates decorative emphasis rather than a verified process setting.

Check the completed detail

Compare coverage, edges and the relationship to surrounding print on the assembled panel. Identify the exact location of any visible discrepancy and photograph it at an appropriate scale. Keep the sample identifiable for discussion with the production team.

Use the agreed evaluation method

Any required surface or handling evaluation should follow the method and acceptance requirements agreed for the order. Visual review alone does not establish a resistance rating. Record the result or requested adjustment alongside the artwork and sample reference.
