Book-Style Packaging: Review the Cover, Inner Space and Opening Sequence

Book-style packaging opens around a cover-like panel and an inner presentation space. Review the relationship between those parts with the actual contents, then coordinate the artwork and the recipient’s opening sequence.

Define the inner arrangement

List the packed items and identify the area in which they should be presented. State whether they are removed together or separately. Keep the usable inner dimensions and any support in the written brief.

Review the cover movement

Open and close the sample with the contents loaded. Check the clearance around the cover and the space needed to reach the items. Confirm the proposed closure and assembly method rather than assuming that every book-style package uses the same construction.

Coordinate the printed panels

Review the front cover, opening face and inner artwork as one sequence. Check product information and graphics in both the closed and opened states. Approve the fitted sample with the final artwork and packing arrangement.
